A 1971 Chevelle in the woods?

You read right! We took a 1971 Chevy Chevelle convertible with us on the trail today, bright green with  black  stripes, black interior, all American muscle…and pocket sized… Yep, die-cast Matchbox. A friend who was camping in the park gave us a car she found in her site (we have a box of found campground toys, mostly little die cast vehicles). So, what did I do? Stuck it in my pocket, took it on the trail with us and posed it in various places…it’s what I do! (lucky for me, Dave does it too so he doesn’t roll his eyes much)

I had fun today, can you tell?

We finished this section of mountain bike trail just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. The campground is already full! We’re going to get out and hopefully ride the trail this weekend, weather and crowd dependent.
