Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr The central part of Oregon is in a deep freeze and we are locked inside. So we decided to get outside and get moving and burn some calories. We checked the temperature before going outside… This is what we saw:
We decided that power equipment was going to be hard to work with so we opted for hand tools. Here is Heather (AKA “The Saw”) going after some limbs that scrape into the RVs as they come into the park.
Before we knew it we had a truck load. In fact we had about four or five truck loads before the fun of the day was over… Here is a picture of one of the “small” loads we took out of the park. I’m sure this is not OSHA approved but when in Oregon….
On a more worthy note we passed our “2000” volunteer hour mark in the park. So between us we have logged over 4400 or so hours of service in Oregon parks. Much of it doing things like the pictures above. We love it…
